About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking finance leader to take ownership of Yellow Door Energy’s Group Accounting, Finance and Control function across our regional operations.
This is a senior leadership role reporting to the CFO, with responsibility for financial stewardship, control, reporting, treasury oversight, and performance management across a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction business. The role is suited to a dynamic leader with strong technical credibility, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach, capable of bringing clarity, structure, and solutions in a fast-evolving business environment.
You will lead a high-performing team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen financial stewardship, support decision-making, and drive the continued evolution of finance processes, systems, and ways of working. The role covers six operating countries, with Head Office responsibilities across the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, KSA, Oman, and South Africa.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Group accounting, financial control, and consolidation across a multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-jurisdiction business.
Ensure strong financial stewardship, timely close, and high-quality financial reporting across Yellow Door Energy’s regional operations.
Act as the primary finance counterpart for external auditors and oversee statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
Oversee Group treasury activities, including liquidity planning, cash management, banking relationships, FX exposure, and treasury risk.
Lead Group planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting processes, providing clear insight to support decision-making by the CFO and senior leadership team.
Partner closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders on governance, business performance, and strategic finance matters.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring strong accountability, capability development, and succession planning.
Drive process discipline, standardisation, and continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and ways of working.
Requirements
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Professionally qualified accountant, such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent.
Minimum 12+ years of post-qualification experience in senior finance leadership roles spanning Group accounting, consolidation, treasury, audit coordination, and financial reporting.
Demonstrated experience in multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-jurisdiction Group consolidation.
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and complex accounting treatments.
Proven experience managing financial close, Group reporting, statutory reporting, and external audit processes.
Strong treasury oversight experience, including liquidity planning, cash forecasting, bank relationship management, FX exposure, and intercompany funding structures.
Experience leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting processes.
Experience operating across geographically dispersed entities and stakeholder groups.
Advanced ERP systems experience, ideally including NetSuite or similar enterprise finance platforms.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability, with fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred
Master’s degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance, or asset-heavy multi-country businesses.
Experience supporting lender reporting, covenant monitoring, and shareholder reporting.
Exposure to treasury policy development, hedging strategies, and cash pooling structures.
Experience working in the Middle East and Africa region.
Experience supporting organisational scale-up and finance operating model evolution.
